For the Eco-Conscious
THE RIDE Bumbleride Indie
This versatile stroller has great maneuverability over rugged terrain. Light and bright, it folds down to a surprisingly compact size, despite its air filled tires. A fully reclinable seat made from recycled PET bottles and bamboo means that there is no added gasses that will pass through your little one’s lungs while they ‘re away in dreamland. Even though the rain cover, car seat adapter and bassinet are not included, you are still getting a bang for your buck. And you can say you’re being environmentally conscious to boot.

THE RIDE The Bugaboo Bee 3
The Bee glides over gravel with ease, folds like a dream and practically sings (if you ask it to). The Bee is one of the most compact strollers and offers everything a full-sized stroller does (rain cover too), without compromizing
on quality. Individual wheel suspension gives you a great ride no matter the surface. Best of all, the seat can lie flat for a newborn and expand to fit your toddler without adding extra weight to its slim but sturdy frame. You can even custom pick your colour way.
THE PRICE Starts at $769.

THE RIDE The Uppababy Vista
This stroller isn’t cheap but offers a sleek design and lots of pros, like all-terrain rubber wheels to tackle any path you put it on, and an impressively large storage basket for your groceries and beach belongings. Shield
the little ones from the harsh UV rays with the built-in drop-down SPF 50+ canopy. The Health Canada sleep-approved bassinet is included along with a rain cover and mosquito net for the toddler seat. The infant car seat Mesa by Uppababy fits in seamlessly without adaptors, and if you need to make room for two or three, add the rumble seat and piggy backboard.
THE PRICE: Starts at $1125.99
For the Contemporary Couple
THE RIDE The Stokke Xplory
The Audi of strollers (this is the last remaining stroller still made in Europe), the Xplory’s futuristic look it will definitely turn heads as you strut by down the street. As unpractical as it may look, it is the most ergonomically designed stroller for both parents and baby. Its slender skeletal frame provides stability minus the bulk. It allows parents to adjust the height of the seat (for the more petite humans), and features the highest seat on the market, enabling your precious one to be as close to you as possible. Taking up no more room than your average dinning chair, in a pinch it can be used as a highchair at a restaurant. Folding the Xplory may be cumbersome, but it is still a pretty lightweight stroller and can be easily rolled over stairs on its two back wheels. The bassinet is not included in the price, but the sliver of a bag that replaces the large obtruding basket is, along with a rain cover and mosquito net.
