The DOUGLAS, An Autograph Collection Hotel, Seeks Storyteller-in-Residence to light up social media with stories, news and behind-the-scenes insights.
Think you’ve got lit social media skills? Do you fancy yourself a storyteller who can combine compelling words, photos and video to tell a story? If so, you might be the right person to help the recently-opened DOUGLAS Hotel elevate their social media accounts by becoming their Storyteller-in-Residence.
The chosen explorer will help craft the story of the DOUGLAS, a timeless property whose balanced dialogue of nature and city aims to promote growth of the body and mind. As the hotel’s resident ambassador, the Storyteller will live in the DOUGLAS for 30 days while sharing his or her adventures through compelling social media posts consisting of photography, videography and written content. Posts will be distributed across the DOUGLAS’ social channels, as well as other partner channels and media.
The full experience includes round-trip flights for one person from place of residence in Canada to Vancouver; complimentary residence for 30 days, starting on November 6, 2017; an exciting itinerary that fully immerses the Storyteller in all aspects of life at the DOUGLAS. You will also receive $5,000 as a thank you for creative service.
The Storyteller-in-Residence should be a modern traveller with a discerning sense of style; one who seeks and respects art, design and the finer aspects of life. Social media knowledge is a must, as is a keen eye for photography and the ability to produce inspiring, emotive and engaging content.
