Canada turns 150 and to celebrate Air Canada and Fairmont Hotels have partnered to create an ultra-luxe package that’s out of this world.
There are birthdays and then there are the big ones. And this is a big one for Canada. To celebrate 150 years, Air Canada and Fairmont Hotels have come up with a once-in-a-lifetime package, dubbed Après in the Air, that begins in the air and continues with spectacular accommodations, authentic Canadian food and wine, and winter excursions.
The price tag? $300k. The long weekend package includes a chartered flight for you and up to 57 of your closest friends on Jetz, Air Canada’s private charter service, to three locations in Canada. At each hotel, all your activities are tailored and curated for you. Activities like dog sledding, ice skating, snowmobiling, ice fishing, horse drawn sleigh rides, skiing, and curling are available. As are dishes from famous Canadian chefs like Louis Simard, Tim Wasylko, and Éric Beaupré.
Expensive? Yeah, it is. But just do the math. We are just going to assume you have 57 friends (Facebook friends count) and not a single one of them will say no to having the most lit weekend of their lives. Then the price is a mere $5,263.15 per person. We did mention you’re taking a private charter flight, and all hotels, meals and activities are included, right? Now that’s a pretty good deal.
So start planning because this epic experience ends New Year’s Even 2017.
