The Jesus and Mary Chain set to release first album in 18 years followed by North American spring tour, which closes in Vancouver.
Talk about taking your time to make a record. It’s been 18 years since the Jesus and Mary Chain last released an album but if their first two singles are anything to go by, the wait has been worth it.
In addition to their upcoming European dates behind the record, the band have announced a spring tour across the US and Canada, including a Vancouver date on May 24 at the Vogue to wrap up the tour. Buy your tickets here.
Damage and Joy, out March 24 via ADA/Warner Music It follows the band’s 1998 LP Munki. Produced by Youth, the new album features contributions from the band’s touring drummer Brian Young, ex-Lush bassist Phil King, and Youth on bass. Check out the song “Amputation” from the new album.
