Harvest Feastival brings together culture vultures, students, UBC staff and faculty for one evening of culinary delights followed by arts, music and conversation. Enter to win a pair of tickets.

You’ve put away the sunscreen, sunnies, and wide-brim hats and are ready to face facts: summer is over. But before you go digging in the back of your closet for your Arc’teryx jacket and waterproof Native shoes, make your way down to UBC for Harvest Feastival, an epic outdoor feast featuring exhibits, shows and much more. This is one end-of-summer party you don’t want to miss.

Put on by UBC’s Campus & Community Planning, your Feastival ticket includes a three-course meal created by David Speight, Executive Chef of UBC Food Services. Among other mouth-watering items, the menu includes Tuscan pumpkin penne and a blackberry beet salad made with ingredients sourced from UBC Farm. Post dinner, guests gain exclusive access to exhibits and shows at MOA, the Chan Centre, an Belkin Gallery. This event will put your dinner-and-a-movie date idea to shame.

The Menu

Autumn Harvest Salad – Roasted butternut squash, pearl cous cous, baby spinach, sundried cranberries, apple cider vinaigrette. Contains: Gluten, Mustard

Blackberry Beet Salad – UBC farm baby greens, manchego cheese, candied pecans, blackberry balsamic vinaigrette. Contains: Dairy, Nuts, Mustard

Pan Seared Wild BC Salmon – Soy-ginger butter, toasted hemp seeds, roasted root vegetables, red & white cascade potatoes. Contains: Dairy, Seafood, Soy

Tuscan Pumpkin Penne – Charred cherry tomatoes, swiss chard, fresh herbs & toasted coconut. Contains: Gluten, Tree nuts (coconut)
