Yaletown’s La Pentola debuts new logo, menu and funky art wall that’s already winning hearts on Instagram and in Vancouver.

It’s Love Baby, and we’re not just talking about La Pentola’s new art wall located on the exterior of the OPUS Hotel in the heart of Yaletown. The restaurant, which recently reinvented itself with a fresh new logo and a tantalizing menu, is quickly becoming a favourite with Vancouverites who pop in for some classic Italian fare or simply stop by to pose for photos in front of the chic mural designed by artist Oliver Fletcher. Art installations will be updated seasonally, showcasing Vancouver artists and giving guests a thought-provoking piece to enjoy.

Using local and seasonal ingredients, La Pentola‘s Chef Travis McCord creates iconic Italian dishes with a modern twist. Try the Alla Famiglia menu, which features a five ($55pp) or seven course ($65pp) family-style dinner to share as a table.

Signature dishes include vitello tonnato and parmesan soufflé, as well as fresh hand-cut pasta such as butternut squash and ricotta ravioli with chestnuts and brown butter sage sauce, or pappardelle with roasted local porcini and pork sausage. Meat lovers can also enjoy locally sourced dishes such as Fraser Valley duck with squash purée, mostarda, hazelnut, farro and grilled radicchio.

From 9pm until late Happy Hour features include $6 negronis, $5 red or white wine and $4 local craft beers, alongside $5 bites such as baccala (salted cod) on toast and meatballs in tomato sauce.
