The Teahouse 

Mother’s Brunch starts at 10:00 a.m., and is available until 3:00 p.m. The Teahouse will be featuring a Lemon & Blueberry Croissant bread pudding. Or join us for dinner and enjoy a prime rib dinner – three courses for $42.50 or just the prime rib for $35. Choose between our classic Caesar Salad, Soup of the Day and 10oz Roasted Prime Rib with Yorkshire Pudding and finish off with house-made Chocolate Cake or Lemon Tart. Reservations are recommended.


Beginning this spring just in time for Mother’s Day and continuing every Sunday throughout the year, the new brunch menu from Cardero’s Executive Chef Jason Kleinfeld and his culinary team features a selection of savoury breakfast items that will be available Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in addition to the restaurant’s regular lunch menu. The new daytime lineup offers a variety of West Coast inspired items showcasing fresh vegetables and Ocean Wise seafood, including: Mediterranean Eggs served with house-made hummus, avocado, tomato, feta and warm pita bread; Smoked Steelhead Salmon Latke featuring a made-in-house potato latke topped with fresh arugula, roasted tomato and hollandaise sauce; and Avocado Smash, a modern classicwith poached egg, cherry tomatoes, goat’s cheese and arugula served atop grilled Italian cheese bread.

Fable Diner

On Mother’s Day, Sunday May 12 Fable Diner will be running a $27 optional special menu  or brunch, which has a savory starter, choice of entree and sweet finish (it includes coffee or tea and a mimosa or large fresh juice). Fable Kitchen
Chef Trevor Bird and his team at Fable Kitchen has created an optional Mother’s Day brunch menu for $32 – start with house-made banana bread with maple butter, with choice of brunch entree: Vancouver Fish Cake; Mushroom Spinach Hash, Fable Scramble Eggs, Eggs Benedict (choice of ham or spinach) with additional side bacon or sausage available for $5; finish with French Toast Corner Dessert with blueberry-bay leaf jam, mascarpone. This menu includes coffee or tea and choice of grapefruit/orange mimosa or large glass of fresh squeezed Cyoni OJ. Mother’s day brunch starts at 9:30AM, reservations are available and complimentary jar of Black Pepper Jam for every mom.

The Flying Pig

Join us for brunch or dinner and at The Flying Pig and enjoy special features available for one day only. For Brunch: Feature Benedict Atlantic Lobster and Avocado Benedict, Fresh Atlantic Lobster Meat, Avocado, Poached Eggs and Hollandaise, Garden Green Salad ($19), Family Style Platter with Vanilla Waffles, Fresh Berries and Whip Cream, Corned Beef Hash, Fried Eggs, Cheddar Gratin, Scrambled Eggs, Back Bacon, Grilled Breakfast Sausage and Multigrain Toast for $17.5 per person. For Dinner: Feature Fish Haida Gwaii Halibut, Crispy Pancetta Rock Prawn Risotto, Buttered Beans, Tomato and Caper Butter Sauce ($34), Feature Platter with Grilled Beef Striploin, Wild Mushroom Demi Glace, Seared Ahi Tuna Steak, Sautéed Tiger Prawns, Citrus Risotto, Grilled Asparagus, Beet and Baby Arugula Salad for $32 per person. Reservations are recommended.


Special Mother’s Day lunch service is available at WildTale’s Yaletown location, enjoy features like Lobster BLT with Atlantic Lobster, Crispy Bacon, Iceberg Lettuce, Beefsteak tomato, Multigrain, Fresh Garden Green Salad, Hand Cut Fries ($19.50) and Ahi Tuna Niçoise with Dungeness Crab, French Beans, Steamed Potato, Olives, Tomatoes, Grated Free Range Egg, Dill and Lemon Mustard Vinaigrette ($22.50). Dinner service is available for all WildTale locations, enjoy special features like Feature Fish Halibut Cheeks Provencal, Lemon and Parmesan Risotto, French Beans, Caper, Tomato and White Wine Pan Sauce ($33) and Feature Meat Surf and Turf with Grilled Beef Tenderloin and Butter Poached Lobster tail, Olive Oil and Herb Whipped Potato, Steamed Asparagus, Cabernet Demi Glaze ($35). Two Rivers Specialty Meats 

On Mother’s Day, the Two Rivers team will celebrate Mom and her brood by opening an hour early to host a one-day-only prix-fixe brunch menu. Offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, the three-course menu includes house-made scones with local preserves to start followed by a choice of appetizer and main. For those with a lighter appetite, all three entrée options will be available on an à-la-carte basis for the entire day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Guests are also invited to raise a toast to Mom with a selection of boozy brunch cocktails – including Mimosas and Baileys Coffee – available exclusively on Mother’s Day. To Start: Strawberry scones with Devonshire cream, honey and local preserves. Choice of Appetizer: Beet and Goat Cheese Salad with Flamed goat cheese, micro greens, fresh strawberry, crispy pork belly lardons or Blackberry Parfait with House-made organic honey granola, vanilla-scented yogurt, candied pecans Choice of Entrée:  Individual entrée dishes also available a-la-carte from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eggs Benedict with Yarrow Meadows Farms duck confit, English muffin, poached eggs, burnt orange hollandaise or Bananas Fosters French Toast & Double Smoked Bacon with Thick-sliced house-made Challah bread, rum-torched banana glaze, toasted pralines, Chantilly or Quiche Lorraine with Individual quiche featuring Fraser Valley ham, caramelized baby leeks, flamed gruyère.

Just in time for Mother’s Day weekend, owner and lead pastry chef Steven Hodge is marking the occasion with two creative signature offerings designed to spoil Mom: Mother’s Day Brunch Box ($60) – An effortless option for anyone who wants to treat Mom to the perfect breakfast in bed, this pre-packaged gift set includes a box of gourmet chocolates, house-made granola, loose-leaf tea, buttery croissants and a handcrafted chocolate bar. Available for $60, Temper’s Mother’s Day Brunch Box can be pre-ordered for pick-up on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 with a small number of boxes available in-store on both days for guests to purchase on site. Those looking to curate their own selection of sweets and treats can customize a personal Mother’s Day Brunch Box with specific menu items for an additional charge.

Raspberry Chocolate Mousse Cake ($7.50 slice/$35 full cake) – Moms with a sweet tooth won’t be able to resist this decadent dessert made with 75-percent whipped chocolate ganache and fresh raspberries. To honour all the mothers in our lives, Origo Club is proud to host a very special edition of our ‘Afternoon Tea’ service on Mother’s Day weekend. Available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12, our Mother’s Day service offers a selection of small bites, sandwiches and pastries served in our relaxed-yet-refined dining room and paired with a choice of tea or specialty coffee for $45 per guest plus tax and gratuity. The service, which can be supplemented with a glass of Barons de Rothschild Champagne for an additional $35 per person, also offers a feature ‘Bisou Cocktail’ (or mocktail) available throughout the weekend that mingles peach purée and homemade strawberry syrup with Barons de Rothschild Champagne or soda.
